Who is kiosk.city for?
kiosk.city is a collection of printable magazines for children: fairy tales, comics, puzzles and popular science. You download an issue as a PDF, print it at home or at school, and the paper stays with the child.
Every issue carries QR codes right on the page. A phone camera turns a printed picture into a video, a comic to swipe through or a puzzle to solve, so screen time has a beginning and an end instead of an endless feed.
Authors and illustrators publish here themselves: they lay out an issue, upload the videos and the comic pages, and get the QR codes for the layout. Issues are released in several languages, and each language has its own PDF.
